How to make Double exposure effect on Photoshop

Double Exposure Tutorial on Photoshop

This artwork is named Double Exposure,Double Exposure is a photographic technique that combines 2 different images into a single image,on this article i will show you how to make it

Step 1(Make document and open the image)

On this section you just have to do make new document and open your stock image

To Create new document (Click File choose new and set by pixels for (2000 Width,1800 Height Resolution:100Pixels/inch,RGB Color)then click OK

Now to Open the image file(Click File,Open and choose your Image file)

Step 2 (copy the image to your new Art work documen)

On this Step we will move your image to your new document and resize it 

To move the image you can do (click(hold) the image and move it to your new artwork document)

and this is the result but its to big,then you can do (ctrl+T and resize it to fit it with the background)

after folowing the referal before you can adjust your image size like the picture bellow

Then put the second image to your document and adjust the size

Step 3(Make clipping mask and masking)

On this step we will make both image combined,this step is most important this step will define the result

First we will create clipping mask(do right click on the top layer and choose create clipping mask)

And this is the result for following the step before

Now we will creating Layer masking(Choose the layer then choose the masking icon like on this picture bellow)

Do the same thing like the step before

Then to erase the masking we will do it by using brush(Choose brush then set the hardness to 0%)

Be carefull on this step to do this(dont choose the image layer but choose the masking layer)like on this picture bellow

Then brush it on the masking layer(Black to erase it and white to undo)

Step 4 (Add Hue saturation)

Hue saturation is used for make the image color black and white,and to make the colour fit to the other image

to add the saturation(Click on the fill or adjustment layer then choose hue and saturation)

and adjust the colour

Then create clipping mask on hue saturation layer

and this is the result for creating clipping mask

Final step(make it more stuning)

for make it more stuning we can do masking by brush on the first image with waterpaint brush or other brush

And this is the final result for the art work

The conclusion of this tutorial is to combine the men image with the forest image

and to do it we do masking and clipping mask,this art is compatible for your public picture or for your decoration,and i hope this tutorial is usefull for you
